International cricket concil announced senventh addition of The ICC T20 World Cup 2020 tournament. Matches to be played in Australia from 18 October to 15 November 2020. The final Match will be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground 15 November 2020.

As International cricket concil 31 December 2018, the top nine ranked ICC Full Members and hosts Australia will qualified directly for the 2020 tournament. From ten teams the top eight ranked teams qualified for the Super 12s stage of the tournament. Sri Lanka and Bangladesh did not qualify for the Super 12s stage, they will play in the group stage. Both will be joined by the six teams who qualify for the tournament via the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier. The top four teams from the group stage will join the Super 12s stage.
