In cricketing world, new changes are occurring with each passing day and now it is the second most popular game in the world, To make it more fare another important change was accrued when suggested to checked No Ball on test basis by the third umpires.
International Cricket Council (ICC) proposes to seek the help of a third umpire at the growing controversy of "No-Ball". Which was followed in the T20 match between India and the West Indies 6 -11- 2019, and in this match has been written a new history when one no ball was thrown by West Indies bowler.
The matter then became more serious when it was revealed that during the first test match between Pakistan and Australia in Brisbane, the umpire had not given 21 No balls.
In view of the constant mistakes of field umpires and the protest of the affected teams, it was decided for No Ball to involve the Third Umpire on a trial basis.
First No Ball Declared By Third Umpire History
For the first time in the match between India and the West Indies which played in Hyderabad Deccan India , the third umpire was served his service on the trail basis.
India have not bowled a single No Ball in 20 overs in the first bowling, so there was no need for third umpire involvement.
However, in the 13th over during the West Indian Bowling, Kesark Williams became part of history. This was the first time in the history of cricket when the third umpire called his ball a no ball. That was first decision the Third Umpire declared No ball with using his powers.
Earlier Statement of ICC
This was made clear in a statement issued by the International Cricket Council that the third umpire will be responsible for monitoring each ball during this trial for No Ball, he will look front feet of the bowlers at the wicket.The statement was further explained that if the next toe of the bowler exceeds the prescribed limit then third umpire will contact to the field umpire who will immediately declare No Ball.
