The draft ceremony for Pakistan Super League 2020 was held in Lahore
1- Quetta Gladiators
Platinum category
Defending champions Quetta Gladiators team have rights to pick the first player in the Platinum category so they selected Jason Rowe in the Platinum category
Retained Category
While in other players QG retains captain Sarfraz Ahmed along with Mohammad Nawaz, Shane Watson, Ahmed Shehzad, Omar Akmal, Mohammad Hassanin, Naseem Shah and Ahsan Ali.
Diamond & Gold categories
In the Diamond category has Selected Ben Cutting, while Fawad Ahmed in the Gold category,
Emerging & Silver categories
in the Silver category the selected Temple Mills, Abdul Naser, and Sohail Khan
Amar Khan, and Azam Khan, in the Emerging category, while ChemoPal and Khurram Manzoor has been chosen in the supplementary players.
2- Lahore Qalandars,
Platinum category
The second pick for Platinum category was the Lahore Qalandars, who hired to Chris Lin a Australian player. Qalandars selected Chris Lynn in last year his first pick but he leave the tournament due to his serous injury
Retained Category
Lahore Qalandars retained Fakhr Zaman, Mohammad Hafeez, David Wives, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Sohail Akhtar Harris Ruff and Salman Butt, this team failed in all editions so far.
Diamond & Gold categories
In the Diamond category, the Lahore Qalandars did not have a pick, while in the Gold category they have chosen to Samit Patel
Emerging & Silver categories
Muhammad Faizan was selected in the Emerging Category.
while in the Silver category they selected Sekog Prasanna, Ben Dunk, Farzan Raja and Jahid Ali. and Lahore Qalandars selected Landal Simmons and Dilbar Hussain among supplementary players
3- Multan Sultan
Platinum category
The Multan Sultans were the third pick in the Platinum category and selected the English all-rounder Moin Ali and Rilee Rossouw
Retained Category
Multan Sultans retained Players for the fifth edition of the PSL Mohammad Irfan, Shahid Afridi, James Venus, Junaid Khan, Sean Masood, Ali Shafiq and Mohammad Elias .
Diamond & Gold categories
Zeeshan Ashraf and Ravi Bopara preferred to elect in the Diamond category. While in the Gold category bought All-rounder Sohail Tanveer.
Emerging & Silver categories
In the Silver category, Khushal Shah, Usman Qadir and Fabian Allen were selected. Multan Sultans select Imran Tahir and Bilawal Bhatti among supplementary players while in Emerging Category selected Rohil Nazir.
4- Islamabad United
Platinum category
The two-time champion of the tournament in the platinum category today are selected, Dale Stein and Colin Ingram.
Retained Category
Islamabad United selected Shadab Khan, Fahim Ashraf, Asif Ali, Luke Ronchi, Hussein Talat, Emad Butt, Rizwan Hussain and Musa Khan in the retained category.
Diamond & Gold categories
Selected Colin Monroe in the Diamond Category And Roman Reyes selected in the Gold category.
Emerging & Silver categories
Phil Salt and Zafar Gohar part of his squad in the Silver category of Islamabad United and Akif Javed and Ahmed Safi Abdullah in the Emerging Category while Saif Bader and Reece Vander Dawson were selected in the supplementary players category.
5- Peshawar Zalmi
Platinum category
Peshawar Zalmi didn't have a pick in the platinum category.
Retained Category
While Wahab Riaz, Hassan Ali, Kieron Pollard, Kamran Akmal, Darren Sammy, Imamul Haq and Omar Amin they have selected as retained players category
Diamond & Gold categories
In the Diamond category, Peshawar Zalmi selected Tom Benton and Shoaib Malik
While in the Gold category, Eye was touched on Lime Dawson.

Chris Jordan made the Karachi Kings part in the Diamond category and Cameron Delport with Sharjeel Khan chosen in the Gold category

۔In the Silver category selected Razavan, Imid Asif, Dean Lawrence and Ali Khan and Arshad Iqbal selection was from the Emerging Category while among the supplementary players are Lime Plunkett and Owais Zia.
