Here is big news for the fan of Pakistani Cricket Team previous skipper Sarfraz Ahmed, soon returning back to team
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to include
former captain Sarfraz Ahmed as a player in the T20 series against Bangladesh
and for this purpose he has been called for a fitness test.
According to schedule, the Pakistani team will play their
next T20 series against Bangladesh in next month in home grounds.
Bangladesh team has agreed to visit Pakistan for T20 series
but Bangladesh Cricket Board is not ready to send Pakistan for Test match.
For which negotiations with the Bangladesh Cricket Board
are underway and the biggest reason for their talks is Bangladesh's decision
not to play a Test series in Pakistan.
Bangladesh Cricket Board chief executive Nizamuddin
Chowdhury said, "We are sticking to our stance. We want to play only T20
matches in Pakistan. Bangladesh is unconvinced about long tour Pakistan."
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) took a stubborn stance on
Bangladesh's refusal to play Test matches in Pakistan, saying it was impossible
to move the Test matches forward and Pakistan would play their matches at home
ground.
Pakistan recently hosted the Sri Lankan team for two Test
matches, with which the Test cricket was restored after a long period of 10years in the country.
According to sources, PCB has decided to add former captain
Sarfraz Ahmed as a player in the team's possible playing XI.
For fitness test former captain Sarfraz Ahmed is also being
summoned along with other players.
Fitness tests for the PCB Central Contracting cricketers to
be held at National Academy on January 6 and 7, 2020. Sources say that it is
planned to ask Sarfraz Ahmed for a fitness test to be included in the team.
If passed test, he will be included as a wicketkeeper
in the national squad for the T20 series against Bangladesh, while the Babar
Azam will remain as captain.
As per PCB information all players will meet in Lahore on
January 5 and the next 2 days will be continuing for players' fitness tests.
The board had given Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah a chance
to rest for this series, but now all the cricketers will join in Lahore on
January 5 and will contribute a fitness test.
Former skipper once again will be
part of T20 squad if he cleared the health trial.
