PSL Team Peshawar Zalmi's owner Javed Afridi Says South Africa's leading batsman Hashim Amla joins Pakistan Super League Season Five 2020 for PZ
Hashim Amla will take over as Peshawar Zalmi's batting mentor in PSL 5th Edition.
Javed Afridi, chairman of Peshawar Zalmi, welcomed him and said, "Hashim Amla is a great name for legendary batsman and world cricket, his presence will bring more value for our team members".
Hashim Amla has much experience in cricket and he has represented South Africa team in 124 Tests, 181 ODIs and 44 Twenty20 matches.
Peshawar Zalmai head coach and director Cricket Mohammad Akram said, we are happy that Hashim Amla will be the part of Peshawar Zalmi.
"Peshawar Zalmi provides to young cricketers a chance to spend time with the big cricket legends in the PSL every year,"
Where Hashim Amla's presence will benefit the batsmen, our young cricketers will have a chance to learn a lot. Mohammad Akram said.
Yesterday, Team Peshawar Zalmi released its cut and anthems teaser for the fifth season.
Peshawar Zalmi Chairman Javed Afridi in a message to fans on social media website Twitter said that Peshawar Zalmi's official anthem for 'PSL Five' has been composed in a unique Pashto tune that has never been heard before, and this song will be on the heartstrings and will be on the tongue of the fans at PSL Five.
For season five Peshawar Zalmi has launched two kits, a replacement kit with the original kit has also been launched and according to the statement, the kit was developed in partnership with American company Alien.
A day earlier, when PSL-2020 anthem was released at hotel in Lahore, in which prominent Pakistani singers Ali Azmat, Arif Lohar, Haroon and Asim Azhar sing their magical voices.
As per Javed Afridi: In PSL's anthem with lyrics include 22 instruments including copper, pliers, rhubarb and harmonium.
As per announced schedule The PSL Five will start on February 20 and for the first time all league matches will be played in Pakistan, including 14 matches at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, 9 matches at Karachi National Stadium, Rawalpindi 8 and 3 matches in Multan.
The opening match of the PSL 2020 will be held on February 20 in Karachi, while the final will be in Lahore on March 22.
