Misbah-ul-Haq, the chief selector and head coach of the Pakistan cricket team, announced the 16-member squads for the first Test match against Bangladesh in the series ICC World Test Championship.
After a long waiting once again Fawad Alam Middle Order Batsman is included in team.
Fawad Alam also was the part of the Test squad after decade against Sri Lanka in last year but could not make it to the Playing XI.
Misbah-ul-Haq said at a press conference in Lahore about the team's announcement that the selection committee selected the most suitable players for the first Test match against Bangladesh. Chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq said at the press conference that not much changes have been made to the test team, only two players have been replaced.
He said that Usman Shinwari has been included in the squad in the test squad against Bangladesh, replacing Fahim Ashraf.
In this regard, a 16-member squad for the Rawalpindi Test has been announced, with off-spinner Bilal Asif returning. Young off-spinner Bilal Asif took 34 wickets in 9 matches of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

The selection committee also announced the inclusion of all-rounder Fahim Ashraf in the squad, who guided Pavilion to six players against Northern in the Qaeda Trophy final.
Kashif Bhatti and Usman Shinwari, both cricketers were included in the Pakistan Test squad against Sri Lanka, now they are not make place in the squad for the first Test match against Bangladesh. Kashif Bhatti did not play any matches in the series against Sri Lanka, while Usman Shinwari took six for 43 in Rawalpindi Test.
On the question of Kashif Bhatti and Usman Shinwari being dropped from the squad, he said the players may would be disappointed. But Kashif Bhatti and Usman Shinwari are convinced that long-term cricket is part of our forward-looking strategy.
Right-handed off-spinner Bilal Asif has been added to the squad because of the large number of left-handed batsmen in the top and middle order of the Bangladesh cricket team, he said. While Fahim Ashraf has been given preference over Usman Shinwari on the basis of all-round ability.
He said that the goal is to get maximum points in the ICC World Test Championship, wishing Pakistan's cricket team will win series and to be among the two top performer teams in the ICC World Test Championship.
He said that Azhar Ali would be the captain in the squad Against Bangladesh.

Mean while Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) also announced a 14-members team witch led by Mominul Haq for the first test match of the two-match series against Pakistan.
BCB has also released the names of 14 players who will come to Pakistan and play a first Test match after Pakistan announced its team. While veteran batsman Mushfiqur Rahim is not part of the Test team squad for this match. Bangladesh Tour of Pakistan 2020 is regard of ICC World Test Championship Schedule.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) releases arrival schedule of Bangladesh cricket team.
According to PBC officials, the guest team will arrive in Islamabad on the morning of February 5, Bangladesh team will participate in the practice session at 5 pm on February 5 while the two teams will also participate in the practice session on February 6.
According to the PCB, the practice session will start at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium at 10 am
The Pakistan cricket team will leave for Rawalpindi on February 3, where the national squad will begin training on February 4.
